How To Make A Couch Cushion

Materials:

Fabric
Foam
Zipper
Sewing machine
Scissors
Measuring tape
Iron

Instructions:

1. Measure and cut the fabric. The fabric should be twice the size of the foam, plus 2 inches for seam allowance. So, if your foam is 18 inches by 18 inches, the fabric should be 38 inches by 38 inches.

2. Cut the foam to the desired size.

3. Place the foam on one piece of fabric, and then place the other piece of fabric on top. Pin the fabric around the edges, and then sew around the edges, leaving a 6-inch opening on one side.

4. Turn the cushion cover right side out and insert the zipper. Pin the zipper in place, and then sew around the edges.

5. Insert the foam into the cushion cover, and then zip up the opening.

6. Iron the cushion to remove any wrinkles.

Tips:
