Under The Couch Side Table

When I was a child, I used to love playing under the couch side table. It was my own little secret world, where I could hide away from the rest of the world and just be myself. I would spend hours in there, playing with my toys, reading books, or just daydreaming. It was my own little sanctuary, and I loved it.

One day, I was playing under the table when I heard a noise. I looked up and saw a pair of big, brown eyes staring at me. I was so scared that I nearly jumped out of my skin. But then, the eyes started to blink, and I realized that it was just a cat.

The cat slowly approached me, and I cautiously reached out my hand. The cat sniffed my hand and then rubbed its head against it. I was so relieved that it wasn't going to hurt me. I petted the cat for a while, and then it curled up on my lap and went to sleep.

I spent the rest of the day playing with the cat under the table. We became friends, and I would often go back to visit him in my secret world. The cat was always there for me, and he would always make me feel better when I was feeling down. He was my best friend, and I loved him very much.

One day, when I was about 10 years old, I was playing under the table when I heard a loud noise. I looked up and saw that the couch had fallen over. I was trapped! I tried to push the couch off of me, but it was too heavy. I started to panic. I thought I was going to die.

Suddenly, I heard a meow. I looked up and saw the cat standing on top of the couch. He was looking at me with concern in his eyes. Then, he jumped down and started to lick my face. I started to cry, and the cat just kept licking my face. He was comforting me, and he was letting me know that everything was going to be okay.

I don't know how long I stayed trapped under the couch, but eventually, my parents came home and found me. They lifted the couch off of me, and I was so happy to be free. I hugged my parents tightly, and then I picked up the cat and hugged him too.

The cat had saved my life. He had been my friend and my protector, and I was so grateful to him. I knew that I would never forget him, and I would always be there for him, just like he had been there for me.
