Cindy Crawford Couch Cushion Replacement

Replace your Cindy Crawford couch cushion for a refreshed and rejuvenated look.

Materials and Tools:

New couch cushion foam (same size and density as original)
Fabric for new cushion cover (same type and color as original)
Sewing machine or hand needle and thread
Scissors
Measuring tape or ruler
Staple gun

Instructions:

1. Remove the Old Cushion Cover:

Unzip or unbutton the old cushion cover.

2. Measure the Foam:

Measure the length, width, and height of the old foam cushion. Use these measurements to cut the new foam to size.

3. Cut the New Foam:

Place the old foam on top of the new foam and trace the outline with a pen or marker. Cut the new foam along the traced lines.

4. Sew the New Cushion Cover:

Cut the fabric to the correct size, leaving a few inches of extra fabric on all sides for seams.

Fold and press the edges of the fabric by 1/2 inch twice, creating a hem.

Sew the hem around all four edges of the fabric.

5. Place the Foam in the Cover:

Insert the new foam cushion into the new cover.

6. Staple the Cover:

Pull the edges of the cover taut and staple them to the bottom of the cushion.

Space the staples evenly around the perimeter of the cushion, about 2 inches apart.

7. Reassemble the Couch:

Place the new cushion back onto the couch.

Zip or button the new cushion cover.

Tips:

Use high-quality foam for the new cushion to ensure durability.
Choose a fabric that matches the original cushion cover for a seamless look.
If you are not comfortable sewing, you can have a professional upholsterer replace the cushion cover.
